Our Story

Longina Phillips Designs is a print design studio which specialises in seamless repeat patterns for fashion. 

We empower creativity through artistry and craftsmanship, delivering personalised design solutions for fashion, interiors, and beyond. Through close collaboration with brands, designers, and creatives we craft versatile, high-quality, and sustainable designs that inspire and elevate everyday living for clients around the world.

1999

Founded 1988

Longina Phillips or as we know her Lola founded LPD in Sydney, Australia. In 1993 we moved into our studio in Surry Hills and we have been here ever since.

Experts in Art + Fashion

When we started every design was hand drawn. We are proud to continue this tradition of artistry although glad we now have photoshop to put our paintings into repeat.

Over 35 years we have adapted to many changes in technology. Bringing in computers and photoshop early on. 

In 2014 we launched The Print School to share our expertise in print design with you.

Over the years our studio has grwon and changed. We have welcomed and farewelled many faces. Been joined by furry friends. Travelled over the world atteneding trade shows and visiting our customers. 

The studio has survived everything life could throw at us from floods, to pandemics, to fatal server crashes.
